What is the Boomerang Principle you ask? It is basically the law of cause and effect. Whatever you send out into life comes back to you in one form or another. Some people call it Karma.
The Boomerang Principle applies internally (to oneself) and externally (to everyone around you).
Internally it is expressed as self-fulfilling prophecies. If you have negative thoughts and believe that you can’t do something, then you won’t. You have to change your mindset and stop listening to that negative voice inside your head. If you have a positive attitude and know you can conquer something, then you will. A positive attitude makes ALL the difference, especially when learning something new.
To live the Boomerang Principle externally you have to give away that which you would most like to receive.
If you want help, then help others around you.
If you want trust, then trust others around you.
If you want iration, then give it away freely.
How does this principle apply at work?
If you want to be surrounded by great colleagues, then be a great colleague yourself.
If you want a great team, then be a great team member.
It is just like throwing a boomerang – what you toss out, comes back to you.
